Growing up on a Michigan farm with 6 brothers, Bonnie was raised close to nature and with a huge imagination. Dreams of traveling and of living near the ocean brought her across the country to California at a young age, where she found security and success in the corporate world of LA. This lifestyle brought much, but over the years her burning desire for something more grew stronger and stronger.
In 2010, Bonnie made the decision to leave the corporate world and LA to pursue the strong call towards freedom and holistic living. This led to a series of powerful experiences whilst traveling, including a deeply transformational RYT-200 yoga teacher training, all of which revealed within her a strong calling to share a path of transformation with others. She has been on spiritual journey ever since, continuously seeking to learn, share and live wholeheartedly.
As Director of a permaculture and yoga retreat center in Guatemala for two years, Bonnie was able to further pursue her passion for personal transformation while developing and running a sustainable intentional community. Following her RYT-500 certification, she pursued a path to facilitate yoga teacher trainings and personal transformation immersion retreats with SchoolYoga Institute. Bonnie is passionate about permaculture and received her Permaculture Certification in 2014.
Bonnie shares healing as a transformation and business coach, passionate yoga teacher, grounded DONA certified doula (birthing assistant), intuitive massage therapist and essential oil consultant. She weaves a path of personal transformation in with the teachings of yoga and shamanism, offering healing support on spiritual, physical, emotional and mental levels. Her steady and calming energy brings a sense of belonging, as she draws together teachers and students to make lasting positive changes. Her intention is to leave everyone she meets feeling more at home within themselves, connected to the moment and inspired to live more wholeheartedly.
Bonnie spends a lot of time in Arizona and Utah with her family and is currently based in San Marcos on Lake Atitlan in Guatemala.
